A fine free-standing fire grate in the manner of Robert Adam with a semi-circular fan-fronted fire basket adorned with harebells and interlocking circles. The cut-steel polished front and fret are intricately engraved. The pierced fluted fret is set between beaded mouldings. Semi-circular shaped rivet-work grill below wrought-iron shoulders and shaped fire back with oval. The build quality of this grate is exceptional.
