Vintage Design
“Pupeny (Buds)” chair was designed by Bohuslav Horak for Anthologie Quartett in 1995. This piece is part of the “Metal Garden” exhibition, presented at Salone del Mobile in Milano in 1996. It is handcrafted from green lacquered iron and has green glass balls on top of the backrest. The chair is sculpted in a biomimicry way.
The “Metal Garden” series was handmade by Horak himself and has to this date been executed in only ten examples of each piece.
