A very fine Armchair with hand-pulled Cane seat, back and sides. The Chair has a Fruit Wood frame with a painted crest depicting three Cloud riding Cherubs in Celadon and Ivory tones, Black line painting on the arms, top, and sides and front supports with painted Vases, Laurel Leaf and Foliate Swag motif. The removable custom seat cushion has a raised and woven Tapestry like appearance with Pale Pink and Green Floral Wreaths on a light Tan background.
The Arm Chair measures 38.25” high by 23.75” wide by 23.25” deep. The seat height is 18” and the arm height is 26.5”.
Condition: Please see detail photos. There is some age-related wear including a stable age split to the crest painting, acceptable nicks to the frame and an old repair to one of the arms clearly seen in photos which do not detract from the elegant and stately presentation.
