A very fine 20th Century mahogany console or hall table in the manner of Adams, of exceptional quality and beautifully carved with rich patination, grain and adorned with intricately detailed Neoclassical motifs comprising of urn, linen swags, garlands, applied flowerhead paterae and trailing bell husk motif detail. The gorgeous moulded faux marble top of bowfront form is raised over fluted frieze with centred plaque adorned with an exquisitely carved urn flanked with applied flowerhead paterae. Supported on elegant tapering, square leg with fluted detail, terminating on block foot, labelled ‘William Tillman’.
