A very attractive and high quality pair of English early 19th century Adams st. gilt and painted satinwood console tables. The “D’ shaped pair have a bottom satinwood tier supported by the fluted front columns and the original mirror plate back with two additional fluted columns. The tier has an exquisite and finely painted outer border of colorful flowers and foliage. The fluted frieze has a rosette decoration above the front columns. The satinwood top is decorated with a half round peacock feather-like design amidst floral garlands, bordered as the bottom tier. Exceptional quality throughout.
