Vintage Design
Early to Mid 20th Century Louis XV Style French Gilt Chair. Solid carved beech frame with gesso and gilding. Sprung and webbed, saggy along front edge. Dimensions: 74cm x 68cm x 43cm 62cm arm height x 111cm high. Condition: Fairly sunfaded upholstery and a bit scruffy but overall presents failry well. Marks and wear commensurate with age. Some of the gesso is missing on the arms where there is slight movement in the joints but the generally the frame is strong and sturdy with a s sprung seat.
