Ethel May Copeland 1917, oil on textured art board. A wonderfully moody antique seascape with rocky cliffs, waves lapping the shore and sailboats. It appears to be a west coast scene. A limited palette of browns, white, and grays with touches of deep orangish pinks in the sky. Inscription on back with a date and gift inscription. Partial Meininger’s Denver label on the back of the art board.
