1950s Ch Field Haviland / Limoges Finest French Ivory China Roses Cream & Sugar Bowl Set- 2 Pieces

Here’s a gorgeous Haviland/Limoges sugar and creamer set. This set features a very traditional pattern on a “thoroughly modern” mid-century silhouette. The lovely pattern transferred on to an ivory China base features traditional rose sprays in various shades of pink with dark green leaves. The front of each piece is also decorated with a bouquet of additional flowers. The pattern has a European country feel. The silhouette is bold and geometric that refers to the burgeoning mid-century style as well as the art deco movement of previous decades. Overall, the effect is both striking and beautiful.

Condition: This set is in excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks or damage other than a small nick on the bottom. The floral design is clear and crisp. There is some wear to the gold trim as well as signs of use on the bottom, so please check the photos above. Each piece is clearly marked with the Haviland and Limoges decorator and manufacture marks, as well as the Macy’s trademark.
