This is an elegant antique dining set that comprises an antique Regency Revival dining table dating from the 19th Century and a set of twelve Hepplewhite dining chairs. The table has two leaves which can be added or removed as required to suit the occasion and it stands on three “gun barrel” triple leg bases which are fitted with brass toes and castors. The table top is of beautiful flame mahogany and there is no mistaking the fine craftsmanship of this handsome dining table which is certain to become a treasured addition to your furniture collection, and a talking point with guests at meal times. The fantastic English-made set of twelve Hepplewhite Revival dining chairs have been masterfully crafted in beautiful solid mahogany throughout and the finish and attention to detail on display are truly breathtaking. The set comprises ten chairs and two armchairs, all of which feature an attractive shieldback design and ‘drop in’ seats that are upholstered in the finest damask fabric. There is no mistaking the fine craftsmanship of this handsome dining set which is certain to become a treasured addition to your furniture collection, and a talking point with guests at meal times. THE BOTANICAL NAME FOR THE MAHOGANY THESE ITEMS ARE MADE OF IS SWIETENIA MACROPHYLLA AND THIS TYPE OF MAHOGANY IS NOT SUBJECT TO CITES REGULATION.
