Vintage Design
Exceptional modernist desk of the Art Deco period. This superb furniture recalls the office produced by Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Janneret with her curved tray and the wood used since it is a ash, like the one made by the two designers. Our solid ash and plating office consists of a tray resting on two rounded boxes on the rear part, the front part being composed of two large drawers for one and three drawers and a sliding tray for the other. Each box rests on a slightly set base forming a foot. The handles and keys are made of chrome metal, the locks are Fichet, a famous French locksmith specializing in the manufacture of safes. The room is finished with a very beautiful French polishing. France, around 1940.
