A 19th century brass bound campaign chest, secret interior
This is a beautiful looking and fine quality
Campaign chest, the interior is unusually fitted with a large compartment. The chest stands on small feet, it has Campaign style brass bound corners and edges with iron carrying handles, it also has a very unusual studded decoration on the front
This is an attractive piece with a good rich colour, it is in good condition apart from age related wear and comes with a front hasp which could be locked with a padlock
The box measures 36’’ wide x 19’’ deep and stands 20’’ high
