Vintage Design
Extendable Chelsea dining table with a square tabletop and a pyramidal base entirely made in walnut wood and metal details. It was designed by Vittorio Introini and produced by Saporiti during the 1960s. The tabletop can be opened up and extended from 100 cm to 200 cm.
Vittorio Introini is an Italian designer and artist of postwar and contemporary art born in 1935. His works were presented at the KANAL exhibition at the Pompidou Center in Paris. Architect and passionate designer, Vittorio Introini began his design activity in the sixties of the twentieth century. The charge of innovation and change of his architectural works and design is given by his rich cultural background and the breadth of cultural and architectural references. His language unites different elements including individual creativity, subjectivity of compositional systems and knowledge of new materials.
