Dr C Dresser for Benham and Froud, stamped mark to base.
An Aesthetic Movement brass fire bucket and shovel with an organic whiplash handle, rising and parting then riveted in place and ending in little wrought ripples. Dresser used the ‘ripples’ design on several other items, three known such items include a claret jug, a Linthorpe Art Pottery jug, and a Benham and Froud kettle.
