These fine antique Spanish cast silver candlesticks have an oval tapering form in the Adams style.
The urn shaped capitals of these antique silver candlesticks are encircled with concave fluted decoration and have fixed sconces.
The capitals are supported by tapering columns embellished with vertical ribbed decoration.
The knops and domed oval foot of each candlestick are further embellished with stepped decoration.
Antique Spanish cast candlesticks, of such high quality, are rare to the market.
Condition
These antique silver candlesticks are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in excellent presentation condition. There are some surface blemishes as to be expected, in keeping with age. The Spanish hallmarks struck to the surface of each base have wear in keeping with age, but remain legible.
