A highly decorative carved oak box settle, English circa 1900
Nicely detailed with four foliate carved panelled back and scroll arms. Box seat with lift up lid and two panel carved front, raised on turned baluster feet. The shape and carving to the arms have an almost Anglo Asian influence and would certainly fit into a décor scheme of that style. A truly unique piece of the highest quality.
Seat size 126cm x 36cm / 49 1/2? x 14?.
