A very fine English 19th century Adam style Polychrome painted satinwood vanity table. The ornately decorated cabinet surmounted with an easel mirror flanked by a pair of storage compartments centered with oval paintings, all above five top drawers, the front serpentine apron with a large drawer and raised on four tapering legs conjoined with an “X” stretcher centered with an oval storage box. The entire vanity is decorated with hand-painted with designs of floral wreaths, profile portraits of Roman Emperors and paintings of maidens and gilt-metal hardware. Circa: London, 1880-1890.
