This is an absolutely spectacular paint decorated Adams style English-made vitrine or china cabinet. But make no mistake, this is one of the flashiest we’ve seen in a while for it’s smaller size. The glass panes are all individually glazed panels of hand-blown flat glass. First take a look at the vibrant, shimmering satinwood used as the background making up the case and then look at the juxtapositioning of the expertly painted figures and urn motifs. The foreground painting is just mesmerizing and of the highest possible quality and is delightfully done. The condition of the cabinet is very good for an over 140 year old cabinet. The cabinet is a magical piece to add to your home and will be the focus of many conversations when your friends and family come by. Dates to teh 1880s era and is English.
