Italian Renaissance Dressing Table by Müller Morten, 1860

Exquisite & stunning! This Italian renaissance Dressing table hand painted on all sides by Müller Morten circa 1860s. A true work of art this dressing table, the paintings are on all sides and of amazing quality ! The 2 doors show woman with angels & the sides show forest scenery and flowers and the center a couple in love with little lambs. Signed by the artist Müller Morten who lived from 1828-1911. You can clearly see the level of his skill on this piece! The paintings just grab your attention and you can’t stop admiring them. The beautiful color pallets are still warm and strong accentuated by time. Some paintings show some sings of use due to age mainly the front drawer & top of the dressing table. The dressing table has been decorated with friezes and chiseled cones in gilded bronze. On all corners, decorated trims and one center piece on top. The bronze has been signed by ”P.E. Guerin N.Y.” Famous for high quality bronze furniture hardware and these quality pieces where especially imported to Italy at the time during the 1870s to finish this marvelous piece of furniture. A one of kind piece of furniture that is a real work of art & also very practical and decorative
