moreSurface wear and dark spots to the parchment. Minor imperfections to parchment. In wonderful condition for age. Missing one piece of hardware on front clasp-see photo. These trunks are gorgeous, the interior is near perfect but does carry a scent of age/moth balls. I would not store items that could not retain the scent such as books or textiles. These work best as decoration or a stacked coffee table. They are beautiful. less
