Japanese tea cabinet from the early Showa period (1940-1950).
This kind of cabinet was located in the central living area and served to store all the necessities for making tea.
This tansu is in very good condition. Two sliding doors with cut glass. Four wooden sliding doors and three drawers.
All finished with brass handles. Inside there is also space for drying tea leaves on a kind of slatted base.
Dimensions: height 120.5 cm, width 90 cm, depth 34.5 cm.
