Victorian rosewood davenport. This davenport features a sloped writing surface which opens to reveal a birds eye maple interior with 2 mahogany lined drawers. Circa 1850 the davenport is fitted with a pretty brass gallery. The righthand side of the davenport having 4 mahogany lined graduated drawers, a pull-out slide and a pull-out ink and pen tray. Presented in good condition size: height 32″ (81cm) width 22 1/2″ (57cm) depth 25″ (64cm) working height 29″ (74cm).
