Sportswear -and colored bodywear- were key trends during the 1990s, when lycra took over fashion and changed the way designers made their collections. Despite his love of volume and a layered silhouette, French designer Christian Lacroix could not resist the sexy appeal of tight separates, which acted for him as a new second skin. Printed with a landscape motif that brings primitive art to mind, this long-sleeved top features the designer’s signature sun, taking us back to his Southern roots and passion for bright and upbeat clothes.
