This is a rare form of Adams paint decorated commode. Most of these will have Vernis Martin courtship scenes while this one shows a floral motif and extremely vibrant satinwood veneer over a solid mahogany case. The finish is crazed and has that crackled appearance only time provides and the piece is in very good antique condition with minimal signs of age and use. Dates to the 1920s and is absolutely decadent. Dimensions: 32.5 inches high x 36.25 inches wide x 18 inches deep.
