Vintage Design
Designed by Naoto Fukasawa for B&B Italia, the Papilio collection is named after the Latin word for butterfly and draws inspiration from the silhouette. Taking the same form as the iconic grande Papilio lounge chair, thissofa has the same curvaceous shape with a wing-like backrest and seat cushion. Drawing on the symmetry of butterfly wings, the seat has an enveloping and soft aesthetic, contrasted by the bold red upholstery. Constructed from a tubular steel frame, the seat is padded for ultimate comfort.
